Ok. I was completely blown away by Kaboose and DJMicah. These guys are the real deal! Our youth group is a true group. Made up of every type of teen you can think of and these guys related to them all. Over 60 teens gave their lives to Jesus last night. And these guys exceeded my expectations. I’m so proud to call them my friends. We are having them come back through Mobile, in October. If you want a Jesus centered ol school yet fresh rapper, get in touch with me and we will set it up. I’m going to be posting pieces of the show as soon as we edit it. Until then..,

Dare to be Radical

What’s an old school word that is still used, RADICAL!!!! What is Jesus worth to you??? Are you willing to go to the radical extreme for the one that was radical for you. I mean come on, Jesus died than came back to life, Jesus healed people who couldn’t walk, talk or see. He had a profound way of talking to death, and death obeyed. He talked to the winds, they obeyed. And He loves you enough to speak to you, do you obey??? Sept 8th we will explore what it means to be Radical. Here’s your Dare for Sept 8th.

1.) I dare you to wear the ugliest/funniest shirt you can find to church on Sept 8th.
2.) I dare you to make the effort to repair a broken relationship.
3.) I dare you to memorize the story in John 11:1-46.

DARE to be DIFFERENT

Wednesday night is set to be awesome. Different, but awesome. Here’s the DARE for the week.

1.) I DARE you to wear a ridiculous hat Wednesday night.

2.) I DARE you to sit by someone you don’t know at school and strike up a conversation with them.

3.) I DARE you to memorize

Romans 5:6-8 (New International Version)

⁶You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. ⁷Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. ⁸But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Each student who completes the DARE will be put into a drawing for a cool gift. P.S. Every Wed night we will be giving away some Christian CD’s and other cool stuff. Bring your friends to the Circle.
